Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept donations?
We accept donations for functional hearing aids that are no longer being used, and these are given to eligible candidates in our Practice, who cannot afford to purchase new hearing aids.
How to support our hearing aid project: HEAR I COME!
There are currently over 466 million people with hearing loss that is disabling in nature, and the bulk of that percentage falls under the bracket that cannot afford hearing Aids, and this includes children. Taking that into consideration, JUST Hearing has started an initiative that is committed to the provision and promotion of hearing healthcare, and we work actively towards the prevention of disease or hearing loss, called HEAR I COME.
How does the project work?
All used/new hearing aids are accepted. Donations will be given only to those who cannot afford to purchase new hearing aids. Hearing Aids that are functional will be refurbished, cleaned & reprogrammed for the new user.
To donate your Hearing Aids to support our cause, please contact us on info@justhearingaudiologist.co.za or call/WhatsApp us on +27 799 959 658
Will my Medical Aid cover the Hearing Aids?
Most medical aids have benefits for Audiology where most plans will cover the consultation, and depending on your plan, Hearing Aids can be covered, Audiology benefits are almost always available, but there is a lack of education on this.
The best thing to do is to provide us with your details and we can check how much you medical aid covers.
We accept most medical aids at the practice.
